Great new Frontline doc detailing the human rights’ abuses within the kingdom. Reminds me of this book I read by Robert Baer called Sleeping with the Devil, which was about American/Saudi energy relations and how the United States was willing to overlook a variety of immoral behavior in order to purchase much-needed oil.

Also, there are 28 pages (https://28pages.org/) in the 9/11 Commission that have been redacted. Allegedly, they reveal the Royal Family’s role in funding and/or facilitating the hijackers who carried out the attack.

On what level were the Saudis involved? There has been a growing sect within the kingdom that sees the Sauds’ relationship with the West as against-Islam. Who knows whether it is a radical member of the royal family or someone with their own political agenda.

Unfortunately, the conspiracy theorists of the world have spoiled the merit of this issue. It is either considered ridiculous or political theater perpetuated by the “Illuminati.”

No matter what you believe, our dependence on foreign energy has capitulated a hydra in the Middle East.
