Writer’s Log 36

So I did the adult thing and gave myself due dates for rewriting my chapters. Made a whole schedule and everything. Color coded it to make it visually appealing.

Just something odd to share. I have this odd fear that I will find some kind of tear in the space-time continuum and go back into the past. I’ll be plopped down in the middle of sixth grade (armed with the knowledge of the future) and will have to start from scratch on my book. Disregard I will have to wait fifteen years to meet my fiancée; disregard I could open a Fidelity account and buy Apple and Amazon when it’s cheap; disregard I could try to convince my parents to play hockey instead of doing cross country (they didn’t want me doing contact sports) and fulfill my dream of being the next Chris Chelios.

No.

It would be trying to labor away on this darn book based solely on what I’ve remembered. That would break me., even if I had an almost two-decade head start. 🙂
