Writer’s Log 109

Revising chapter 16. Dabbled in chapter 17 to get some variety. I could finish part 2 by my June deadline, if I spent 3.5 hours a day writing. I don’t think this is realistic. Life is a little crazy right now. But, it does show how doable this could be. As much as I would like to be finished by June 6th (I think D-Day is an appropriate deadline), I don’t think it’s possible. You hit a ceiling with writing productivity and efficiency. Past that, the efficiency is no longer effective. Now, you’re just rushing things and willing to let things go or let things be not as complex or not as detailed or not as refined.

I do wonder which number Writer’s Log will reveal the completion of the novel. That’s a cool thing. That’s a cool idea.
