Today was a particularly uninteresting day of writing. I’m working through those transition moments in order to get to the more “meaty” parts of the story. I do need to remind myself that these transition moments are essential in building the mental picture for the reader and getting them involved in the scene and progression of events.
Will continue to push this boulder up the hill.

I’ve begun seeing transitory moments as the way to get the first draft. Later on, I either cut down drastically or remove them totally. They’re so boring to read. But at least they help me find the way to the meat of the story, like you said. Thanks for sharing!
